King Rollo was created by David McKee and in 1985 thirteen episodes were produced by King Rollo Films Ltd. In its heyday, King Rollo had a weekly comic strip in 'Buttons' magazine. King Rollo was narrated by Ray Brooks. |
| Story |
| King Rollo was a delightful series of stories for
young children which followed the adventures of the bearded, yet childlike, King. He experienced the problems and joys of childhood, aided by his friends: Queen Gwen - the girl from the palace next door. King Frank - King Rollo's friend who had a spotted dog. Cook - arguably the real ruler of Rollo's kingdom. The Magician - whose trick was to help King Rollo without tricks Hamlet - King Rollo's loveable cat. |
