Barry Smith created Humphrey Cushion and Dusty Mop
and Hickory House was first shown on television in 1973.
One hundred episodes were produced and were shown at
lunchtimes.

shown on Granada Television, which
featured Humphrey
Cushion
and Dust
Mop.
Various actors and actresses presented the
programme including Alan Rothwell, Louise Hall-
Taylor and Amanda Barrie (Alma from Coronation
Street).
